Why Does the Chemical Smell Occur?
The chemical smell you mentioned is a common issue with all TPE dolls. We do not add fragrances to our materials, as this can negatively affect the product’s quality. We have minimized the odor through our processes, but it is inevitable that some products will not be able to dissipate the odor because they are sealed in the package for a long time.
Why is the doll producing so much oil?
TPE dolls undergo a process known as "demolding" after the final production phase, which causes the release of oil from the material. To maintain smooth skin, workers apply renewal powder before the doll leaves the factory. However, during transportation, particularly in high temperatures, the doll may secrete excess oil due to prolonged sealing.
How to Reduce the Smell and Oil Secretion?
Clean the Doll:
Soap can help extract oil from the doll’s skin. We recommend using a mixture of antibacterial soap and warm water to clean the doll. This will:
· Remove dust and impurities.
· Wash away excess oil and reduce secretion.
Regular Maintenance:
· If the doll is not used for a long time, regular cleaning and maintenance are important to prevent oil buildup.
· If the doll is kept in a high-temperature environment or sealed for extended periods, it may continue to secrete oil, which contributes to the odor.
Post-Cleaning Care:
· After washing, let the doll dry completely, then apply renewal powder to maintain smooth skin.
- Place the doll in a ventilated area to allow any remaining odors to dissipate.
Final Tip:
You may need to wash the doll several times to reduce the oil secretion and odor.
